6 Degrees of Sacramento

KJ and FroYo

So, 6 Degrees accidentally encountered the KJ phenom this Saturday at the newest addition to the frozen yogurt scene, Yogurtagogo in midtown. There I was, out with friends, politics the last thing on my mind, and suddenly,  there was 50% of the mayor’s race looking over my shoulder. I said hello. He seemed to be having a good time, posing for pictures with fans.

What I couldn’t figure out was exactly what he was doing…he was in a suit, so it looked like he was stumping (it was 2nd Saturday, after all…suits are not exactly in the dress code). Being a nosy nellie, I popped outside, looking for his handlers, but found none. So, was KJ flying solo? Doesn’t seem like his style. What the heck?

I was surprised, too, about one other thing: I thought he’d be taller.

And, since I’m a girl and all, I have to note that he is much cuter in person than on TV. Nonetheless, I’ve reached the age where my hormones have been subjugated by my analytical brain (oh, life where is thy sting!)…and I’m still not voting for him. I spent the rest of the evening wondering if I should have told him to lose the sport coat and tie, and go amongst the people like one of them.

By the way, the new yogurt place rocks.
